Introducing EZDress

 

EZDress makes it easier to get the most from your dress collections; no matter whether you are looking for new ideas for a special event, or simply browsing your favorite attire combinations. You may view information about clothes or accessories stored in your virtual closetvirtualcloset_g. EZDress can help you explore various ways to dress like pro's. When it comes to a shopping season, the matching assistantmatchassistg can sort out the most needed items for you.

 

Getting dressed is fun and easy!

System Requirements

 

The minimum requirements for EZDress are 10MB of free disk space, 64MB RAM, Pentium CPU 333MHz, screen resolution 800x600 and an operation system of Windows 98/ME/NT/2000 or XP.

Click Setup.exe in the Setup folder of EZDress package to install. It will guide you through the installation process.

 

Once the installation is completed, click EZDress.exe to start using EZDress.

 

 

 

Uninstalling EZDress

To remove the software from your system, click EZUninstaller.exe in EZDress folder to uninstall the program,

or open the "Control Panel" on your Windows system, click "Add or Remove Programs," select "EZDress," and click "Change/Remove" button to uninstall.

What’s Virtual Closet

 

Virtual closet is a collection of photos and clothes information mimicking your real closet. Unlike a real one, there is virtually no limit on the items you can put in it! Another benefit is that you can findsearchrecords any item with just a few mouse clicks. You can also share it with your friends for exchanging your dressing experience. The ultimate goal is to help you make the most from your real closet.

 

There are two kinds of items in a virtual closet: Record and Match.

setuprecords

A record contains information about one cloth or accessory, like its attributes (e.g., color, brand), title, detailed description, care tips, pictures, and the associated matches if any.

 

A match contains a unique attire combination, including records of clothes and accessories that look good together.

 

Just like a versatile accessory which can go with many different clothes, a record can also appear in multiple matches. You can create your own match by grouping records one by one through browsing, or take advice from the matching assistant.

In the record window above, you can load up to 4 photos and assign one of them as the main (big) picture by clicking a green left arrow. A record holds attributes including: Category, Style, Season, Color, Brand, and Date -- this could be the purchase date, the last time you dressed it, or a special date you want to remember. The title is a short description about this item, and you can add more details in the description field below it.

 

An attribute is a field of a record (e.g., Color). You can use your own attribute values like "Dark Blue" or "Deep Blue." Attribute values can be combined in criteria for searching items.

 

Suggest

The matching assistant can give you some advice for items that match the current record. (described later).

 

 Add care tips

A new cloth usually comes with care labels or instructions on how to clean them. EZDress can keep these care tips in your records. Please follow these guidelines carefully so you won't accidentally ruin your brand new cloth after first laundry.

The match window above contains two records that look good together. You can click at the record’s title for more information. On the left you can load your favorite picture that shows how good you look wearing them. This dress combination may have a special meaning to you, so you can mention that in the title and the description. You can also put a date on it, which could be the last time you dressed like this, or a special date you want to remember.

 

      Match is a collection of records.

 

Searching Your Closet

   

 

 

To search, you must supply the criteria and then hit Search/Findcommonbuttons button. Criteria are any combination of attribute values on the items to search. You can also search for a keyword in the title. The search result is displayed in a tab next to Welcome page.

 

 

Talking to Matching Assistant

 

Based on the record's information, the matching assistant can give you an advice for items that match the current record. An example would be to recommend you a list of clothes that go well with your favorite shirt. If the best choice is not in your virtual closet, this Buy recommendation icon will appear.

The advice is based on common sense rules for dressing, like: "Purple is ok with pink but not green," or "Don't mix up casual pants with a formal outfit."  You must tell the matching assistant to use these rules in advance.
